Netflix has responded to fan campaigns calling for the un-cancellation of Sense8. In a letter, the streaming company says it tried “long and hard” to bring the show back for Season 3, but ultimately a revival or finale movie is not feasible:
“To our Sense8 family. We’ve seen the petitions. We’ve read the messages. We know you want to #RenewSense8, and we wish we could #BringBackSense8 for you. The reason we’ve taken so long to get back to you is because we’ve thought long and hard here at Netflix to try to make it work but unfortunately we can’t. Thank you for watching and hope you’ll stay close with your cluster around the world. #SensatesForever.”
Will you miss Sense8? Have you boycotted Netflix, or does the streamer’s response soften the blow?
Tim Bacon says
The letter doesn’t soften the blow one iota. Why was the show cancelled? Why not. Plain that to the fans? I read that Sensate was too popular. Netflix wants to make room for more edgy and experimental series. Thatisnteven plausable.
