Playstation Network has cancelled superhero series Powers after two seasons, having opted not to move forward with Season 3, RenewCancelTV has confirmed.
Co-creator and exec producer Brian Michael Bendis said:
“This is hard to tweet, but word is that Powers is sadly, no more. Season 2 was the last. At least for now. I’ll type more about it later, but thank you ALL for your support. such a fantastic personal experience that you gifted all of us.”

I strongly suspect this show gets more viewings AFTER the season is over and Sony releases it on iTunes. No one uses the Playstation Network to watch television…. okay, well there may be a handful, but certainly not enough to warrant producing shows for it. Stupid choice Sony. $60 a year to a playstation Plus membership… or pay for each episode… AND be LOCKED into ONLY viewing on the Playstation… in today’s age you REALLY need to give the customer more options. My TV streams Netflix… and for that matter… so does my phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, XBox, AND Playstation… 1 pipe for the Sony stream means it’s hardly worth the effort.

I completely agree! I didn’t even find out about this show until after the first season because I don’t have a Playstation!
Once I got into it, I really enjoyed it…and wished that it would be available in other ways so that I could actually keep up with it.

This show really just needs to be on a better network…one that more people have access to!

I really liked this show. I found it on a streaming site. It needs to be picked up by a network that has more viewers. Like Netflix. LOVED IT. so sick of originals shows being taken off while crap tv seems to never die.
