– CTV announces new original comedy JANN and a fourth season of acclaimed original drama CARDINAL, as THE BEAVERTON joins the network schedule –TORONTO (June 7, 2018) – CTV unveiled today a prime-time schedule today representing the same strategy that has defined its unrivalled record of success as Canada’s most-watched television network for the past 17 years. With a focus on schedule stability and storytelling strength across genres, timeslots, and demographics, the CTV 2018/19 schedule delivers the most returning Top 20 hits of any prime-time television schedule in North America. Additionally, the schedule present a collection of compelling new programming selected with the same strategic curation that has seen CTV deliver the most-watched new program of the year for the past eight seasons.* The CTV 2018/19 schedule will be presented by Mike Cosentino, President, Content and Programming at the #CTVUpfront celebration of conventional television today in Toronto.

Big-Buzz New Series and Specials
CTV freshens its fall schedule with new content including:
Two huge new dramas (THE ROOKIE and MAGNUM P.I.), a retro comedy (THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT), an aspirational dramedy (GOD FRIENDED ME), and a star-filled new talk show (THE ALEC BALDWIN SHOW).
Two new co-viewing specials, ABBA: THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC, AN ALL-STAR TRIBUTE; and CANADA’S WALK OF FAME AWARDS, which returns to CTV.
The sophomore season of proven medical drama THE RESIDENT.
New programming on deck for CTV mid-season are:
