Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, a spinoff of the hit CBS Television Network series “Criminal Minds,” is a drama about the specialized International Division of the FBI tasked with solving crimes and coming to the rescue of Americans who find themselves in danger while abroad. I think we should see what the ratings, and quality of the program, are before we state it should, or should not, be renewed.
I would like to quote Les Moonves from April 2016: “I Believe CBS will renew of the new shows it owns”.
Of the new shows that CBS owned; 3 were directly renewed Life After Pieces, and Code Black. One was indirectly renewed on the CW network; Supergirl.
3 were cancelled; Angel From Hell, Rush Hour and Limitless, (although CBS claimed they tried to sell it to another network).
I take what Les Moonves has to say with a grain of salt. He cannot predict the future any better than anyone else.
I am sure he would love to renew Criminal Minds; Beyond Borders, however, something might happen that could cause the show to be cancelled.
Melissa MaCartney, (Mike and Molly), and Person of Interest won, (CBS aired), People’s Choice Awards, and Mike and Molly and Person of Interest were cancelled because CBS did not own either of the shows and they did not make enough money off of the programs to renew them.
I like Criminal Minds; Beyond Borders, however, I want to see what they do in Season 2 before I vote to renew or cancel it.

“We have five new shows on this year,” Moonves said at the Deutsche Bank 2016 Media, Internet and Telecom Conference. “Of those five, I believe all five of them will be renewed, and we own four of them.”
