Sky Living has officially cancelled Naomi Campbell‘s modelling competition show The Face after one season.
Said Director of Sky Living Antonia Hurford-Jones on the show’s axing:
“The Face was a brilliant show, which I am very proud of but as is sometimes the case we have to make difficult decisions and so it is with regret that I confirm it won’t be returning for a second series,”
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Naomi and all those involved in making the show, and assure Sky Living customers I remain committed to bringing them the very best in new US and UK entertainment.
Producers Shine Group added:
“We are incredibly proud of the UK production of The Face which has also gone around the world to nearly 20 countries. It continues to travel as a format with new international versions due to be announced shortly.”
To show is said to be in discussion with two free-to-air UK broadcasters to revive The Face for Series 2.
