Candy Crush has reportedly been cancelled at CBS.
The series, which has been crushed in the ratings since its July 9 premiere, will wrap earlier than scheduled with a two-hour series finale, Saturday, September 2.
Per insiders, the decision comes as network bosses have given up on a second season of the game show based on the far more popular mobile game.
See below for the season/series finale details:

WHY was there EVER a season1? This has to rank up there with the dumbest show idea ever. Did CBS get good revenue for advertising a stupid mobile game so heavily???

It’s nothing more than constants playing Candy Crush to win money, that is all it is. It’s the laziest way to make a game show, take a popular video game, and have people play it in front of a live audience to make money. Basically, it’s an even cheaper addition to the e-sports genre.
