TLC has renewed The Willis Family for an eight-episode second season, slated to air in 2016.
THE WILLIS FAMILY TUNES UP FOR SEASON TWO ON TLC
TLC has started production on a new season of THE WILLIS FAMILY. The network ordered eight new episodes that will follow the Tennessee family at home and on the road. The first season averaged 1.4M P2+ viewers*, and showcased Brenda and Toby Willis and their twelve children as they shared their talents around the country. From singing and dancing to acting and painting and everything in between, the family believes in inspiring others through their art. The new season is slated to premiere in early 2016.
In the new season, viewers will get a deeper look into the family’s life off the tour bus. From birthday celebrations and kids learning to drive, life at home in Nashville is a welcome change of pace from the rigors of being on the road. Being at home, though, isn’t without its hardships. After months of being away, they come home to a shocking surprise, and with homeschooling, scheduling, and extracurricular activities, things around the house are busy to say the least. While the viewers will get a closer look into their lives at home, the family will still be performing at shows of all kind. Follow along as the family attempts to balance their own endeavors with the goals and responsibilities of the band while also planning for an exciting change.

I was so excited to see the first episode of the Willis Clan; they were so different from the pious “19 Kids and Counting” who did no wrong. You all allowed your children to rome free, get into things that children would get into, and then your discipline method was “real”, not nothing so fony that no one would believe. I love your son “Jeggar”; he is a character, and the way you allow Jedihair and his girlfriend to express their love. That mess they did on “19 Kids and Counting” was as fony as any you have ever seen. It will not surprise me if Josh is not the only petifile in that familly; I would start looking at Jim Bob, the way he held on to his daughters and cried when they left him to get married. I hope they will let your famil come on for a second season, and that you will show your audience how to do the river dance. That has to be the coolest dance ever, and you guys do it with so much class, especially Jeddar.

Great show! Extremely talented family, it’s really great to see parents take such interest in everything there kids do, and become the best role model for your kids isn’t easy but important and you’ve managed it well. I wish your family all the success and happiness, which I know will come because of the level of sufistication and hard work that each member of the family puts in, and how much you look out for one another so if one isn’t where they should be another jumps in and helps to bring them up, how cool is that? I wish I was part of a big family, I’m 50yrs old lost both parents and both sets of grandparent, I have two older brothers who stay to themselves so I never see or hear from them. My husbands a truck driver that I see about two days out of each month but I have a 19yr old son who is extremely talented, smart and going places. I am extremely proud of him. You are truly lucky to have one another never take that for granted. God bless you all, hopefully many more seasons to come. Love your show!!!
