The Walking Dead Season 10 cancelled?
Andrew Lincoln will depart the AMC zombie drama after its upcoming ninth season, Collider reports:
We’re hearing that, by the end of Season 9 of AMC’s hit drama series The Walking Dead, Rick Grimes himself will be walking away. That’s right TWD enthusiasts, Andrew Lincoln will be growling his way through the post-apocalyptic setting for just one more season before calling it quits. And while we won’t be spoiling just how the series’ founding character makes his exit, we do know that fans can only expect to see Lincoln in half-a-dozen episodes of the upcoming season.
Does Lincoln’s apparent departure signal the end of the AMC series?
Despite losing its lead, The Walking Dead is unlikely end any time soon, with Season 10 and beyond still on the agenda.
Lincoln’s exit will, however, mean a new central character will be drafted in or step up for Season 10.
The Walking Dead Season 9 is slated to premiere fall 2018.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the survival status of The Walking Dead…
