EW reports that Logo will air encore presentations of Season 9 episodes following the VH1 premiere.
While it’s still early days, VH1 has not yet confirmed the Season 10 status of the reality series. However, the move to VH1’s larger platform could prove beneficial to the future survival of the series.
Logo’s SVP of original programming and development, Pamela Post, said of the show’s move via statement:
“Coming off RuPaul’s Emmy win and a ratings record-breaking season of All Stars, the fandom around RuPaul’s Drag Race has only continued to swell as we head into season nine. Broadcasting the show on VH1 will allow more fans to experience the energy, heart, and talent these fierce queens bring to the stage every week.”
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the cancel/renew status of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10…
