ION TELEVISION’S NEW ORIGINAL SERIES, “PRIVATE EYES,” PREMIERES SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11
The Investigative Drama Series Starring Jason Priestley Airs Back-to-Back New Episodes Every Sunday Starting at 9/8c PM
WEST PALM BEACH, January 22, 2018 – ION Television today announced the premiere date for its all-new original series starring Jason Priestley. “Private Eyes” will make its network debut Sunday, February 11, starting at 9/8c PM. The 10-episode season from Entertainment One (eOne) will air each Sunday night with back-to-back new episodes. ION will also air encore runs on Tuesdays beginning at 11/10c PM.
ION Television is the exclusive U.S. television home for current and future seasons of the drama series – the latest to join the network from eOne’s library, including “Saving Hope.” The series also joins ION’s top 10-rated lineup of acclaimed programming, including “Criminal Minds,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Blue Bloods,” “NCIS: Los Angeles” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.”
ION Television will support the series launch with a nationwide on-air, print and digital advertising campaign. The network will also promote “Private Eyes” through a consumer sweepstakes on iontelevision.com beginning January 29 leading up to the night of the premiere.
“Private Eyes” follows the story of ex-pro hockey player Matt Shade (Priestley), who irrevocably changes his life when he decides to team up with fierce P.I. Angie Everett (Cindy Sampson) to form an unlikely investigative powerhouse. Through their new partnership, Shade is forced to examine who he has become and who he wants to be while investigating high-stakes crimes.
Created by Shelley Eriksen and Tim Kilby, “Private Eyes” is produced by eOne in association with Corus Entertainment, with the participation of the Canada Media Fund, the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, the Ontario Film and Television Tax Credit and COGECO Program Development Fund. The series is executive produced by Shawn Piller and Lloyd Segan for Piller/Segan, Jason Priestley, Alan McCullough, Tassie Cameron, and John Morayniss and Tecca Crosby for eOne. McCullough and Piller are also showrunners. (ION TV)
Private Eyes is currently renewed through Season 3 on Global. Will the ION deal help secure a fourth season of the Canadian drama? It certainly wont hurt. Stay tuned…

Love this show. Glad it is coming back. Do you have any cups, pictures, t shirts with this on them. I love this show and got a picture of the Toronto skyline to keep me in touch with the show.

Love Private Eyes! The electricity between Shade and Everett is great! Besides that, it is funny, lightly thought provoking and honest. Also love the scenes between Matt and his adorable daughter. Even love the casting of Matt’s dad and his honest portrayal of grandfather/father. Very well cast and just a fantastic show to enjoy with family! Wish I could clone this one! Thank you, thank you for the creation of an honestly good show for once. Only problem, I’ve watched every episode at least 4 times and would really enjoy some new plots.
