CBS has announced a loose premiere date for the fifth and (most likely) final season of Person Of Interest.
Should Netflix Save Person Of Interest? (Poll)
The drama series has been conspicuously absent from the network’s winter/spring schedules, however, according a CBS rep (as reported by @RickPorter), it will air “sometime this season,” though a firm date has yet to be set.
Based on that, we now have it ‘confirmed’ that POI Season 5 will premiere by August 2016 at the latest, barring a CBS meltdown. Stay tuned…

Unbelievable that CBS cannot see that Person of Interest is ONE program accepted and loved worldwide. I sincerely do hope that they can see that the viewing public does care about seeing this program. Please show the Season 5……

Shame on you for not renewing Person of Interest, after sticking the final episodes in during the summer. It has a wonderful cast and storyline…..although they did go off the grid in the last year with the weird new story….but still, it is a great show that I will miss forever. I will go to other stations and watch the repeats from the beginning…..so there.

My husband and I both watch this show, we both enjoy it. The cast and story line are very interesting, I hope CBS renews this show.

It’s define toy not going to be a season 6. It’s been officially cancelled. I’m fuming.

I have so enjoyed this show over the years. It’s disappointing to loose such a great story line so different from the same old shmuck and so totally about how big brother watches us. Why this show was so ahead of its time. Really great construction instead of just cheesy gore and T&A. Really a disappointment that the network is going for more cheese on tv…..public television here I come
