The fifth and likely final season of Person Of Interest is set to be the “best” yet, according to Kevin Chapman, per TVLine:
“I honestly can say that Season 5 is the best season we’ve ever had. The action, the performances, the subject matter…. Everything. They’ve really gone above and beyond.”
Person Of Interest Season 6 Could Be Saved By Netflix Release?

I love POI but, ever since they killed off every person of color who was on the show, I have hardly watched it at all. Although I am thrilled that Taraji P. Henson was able to land the high profile and dominant role of ‘Cookie’ role on EMPIRE, I still detest the fact that black characters seem to be the first killed off these TV series (and in movies) even when they are in a leading or primary roles like ‘Detective Carter’ was.

I totally agree weith you. I love this serie but it lost some of its charm when they killed her opff. I buy the DVD as soon as they are released.

This is not a conspiracy against black characters or black people.
Why must blacks make everything about color. The two time Academy Award Nominee
was consulted on her character’s fate. They respected and loved her. She had better opportunity’s.
I.E. an Emmy Nominated role on EMPIRE playing “Cookie” a part she loves!!

I know I was not happy about her leaving the show but I read awhile back that she was ready to leave the show, but I wish they did not kill her off they could of recast ed her but that would not of been good.

Ms Henson went on a talk show right after her final appearance and explained that she just had signed on for 3 years only. Soooo the total shock of being killed off was slightly reduced. She must have known that something else was coming her way . Good strategy ms Henson and congrats on empire. Now when will season 5 start

My household loves POI and we are very upset it is not currently on. We vote to bring it back and keep it one. Very eye opening. We have been waiting for the Thursday night football to be over so POI can be seen. We would gladly do without some of the short comedies in order to see more POI, Come on CBS, put POI back on the air.
Thank you!

I Absolutely Love POI to Death. Star Trek: TOS was my favorite show of ALL-TIME, but POI has WON that slot. And just on a very Personal Note, I’m head-over-heals in-love with Root (Amy Acker), OMG…She’s Freaking GORGEOUS!!!! As far as renewing the show………DUH!!!! Just like Star Trek, The Best Sci-Fi Series of All-Time, IMO, which only lasted 3 Seasons so that the Planet of the Apes Series could Air, (The Worst Series of All-Time, IMO), I hope to GOD what happened to Star Trek doesn’t happen to Person of Interest. Why fix something that’s not broken, POI is the Hottest and Most Intriguing Series. Why would they cancel it to make room for another Stupid Boring Series. C’mon CBS, don’t make the same mistake NBC made when they cancelled Star Trek. At this time, I’m aware that there’s gonna be a Season 5 for POI, and that’s Great, and from what I understand it’s gonna be Awesome. But, I think it would be a HUGE mistake to kill the Show after 5 Seasons. I don’t care HOW great Season 5 is gonna be, it can always be Better. But, if they kill the Series after only 5 Seasons, there’ll be no more opportunities to see just how creative the Show can get. But, I suppose they know what they’re doing. I guess they want to end the show with a BANG, rather than keep it going. I wish they’d of kept Star Trek: TOS going, that was THE BIGGEST BLUNDER OF ALL-TIME, cancelling a HIT SHOW like that. Anyway, I hope they keep Root, she’s absolutely one of the most intriguing characters I’ve seen on Series in a Longtime.

The SUITS at CBS are scumbags who no nothing about creative, awesome programming.
It’s about the money. They continue to have their heads up their collectives back ends!
