Person Of Interest Season 5 could indeed be the last in the series, executive producer Jonathan Nolan confirmed during the sci-fi drama’s Comic-Con panel.
With CBS ordering a reduced fifth season of 13 episodes, and moving the show to midseason, Nolan admits that Season 6 is very much up in the air, but hopes another network/outlet picks them up if CBS does pull the cancellation trigger.
Jonah Nolan said S5 will be 13 eps. They'll tell amazing stories then they'll "drop the mic" & hope someone picks them up. #PersonofInterest

However Nolan says he has to treat it like the final season since no one knows. #POI #SDCC

Do not cancel “Person of Interest”. My husband and I are already talking about the fact that we can’t wait to see it! C’mon CBS. We have already had to handle the way you have just cast aside shows like CSI:Miami and CSI:NY and many others without giving them a proper sendoff. This is really starting to leave a bad taste in our collective mouths!

If they cancel POI, CBS will lose many a watchers! I don’t understand how nor why CBS would even consider cancelling POI. Idiots, ALL.
