If they said to me, “We want Person of Interest to keep going but we’re only going to do 10 or 12 [episodes],” I’d say, “Sign me up.” But I can’t do 22 again.

Perhaps since WB studios is the real studio behind the POI, maybe the WB can renew POI on the CW. They have renewed other shows from CBS on the CW, maybe they can do the same for CBS lack of foresight about POI.

Everyone has a right to his/her opinion. Mr Emerson included. My opinion is, however, he does his fans, and those of “Person of Interest,” a disservice. This is a fantastic series with a great cast and crew. The so-called finallee not only did NOT end the story, it breaks it wide open, opening doors for episodes located anywhere. However, to maintain the original premise that “The Machine” must be protected and its location guarded at all costs, the original cast must remain. They are the guardians. Even in the episode where John was forced to take the reigns because of Harold’s disappearance, John pled with The Maching to show him how to rescue Harold. Why? Because Harold is the Man. The Creator. Without him, nothing would be as it should. So far as the series goes, it gives a glimmer of governmental domination and what might be done to use its own tools to protect those it would dominate.

This show is one of the BEST in along time. If I couldn’t home, I always home when it was on. GREAT cast!

I get a feeling that Michael Emerson is not well. I think they could do a show with the rich guy we saw in Episode 11 leading the cast. Let Michael Emerson get well and insert him in later when the rich guy gets into a jam he can’t fix. The same thing with the Jim Caviezel’s character. Even though he looked dead, it could be written so that he somehow survived the shooting, was fixed by one of the doctors he saved, starts working for the team, and then goes to Italy to retrieve Finch and his wife.

Michael Emerson and Carrie Preston, (real life husband and wife), will be performing in the James Bridges Theater (UCLA) production of Amadeus in September 22 – 25.
I think the cast feels the series is done for now, and is moving on to other projects, such as Amy Acker acting in guest roles in MacGvyer.
Maybe it can be revived in the future, without all that Samaritan distraction.

Oh no! You can’t cancel. You have to keep the originals for sure. Harold and Reese have to stay on the show. FIX IT!

This is CBS, they are the loser network because they are unresponsive to the real world, in entertainment as well as new. What do you expect?
