After a successful three-week preview this past summer, “Page Six TV” will return to FOX Television Stations in 17 markets, including New York and Los Angeles, next fall. The first new syndicated program to garner an official launch for Fall 2017, “Page Six TV” is set for key access time periods and double runs across the FOX Television Stations.
“Waiting for someone else to provide first run, day/date programming for us is a mistake. Several companies pulled together to execute the ‘Page Six TV’ test, and we saw enough in the finished product to give it a go,” said Frank Cicha, senior vice president of programming for FOX Television Stations.
Jesse Angelo, publisher of the New York Post and executive producer of “Page Six TV,” added, “With the success of ‘Page Six TV’ this past summer, we are looking forward to the launch of the show next fall to continue to deliver an entertaining and insightful look at the latest gossip and headlines to a broader audience. As an extension of the legendary column, ‘Page Six TV’ is another step in the evolution of the New York Post into a multi-platform media company reaching more than 43 million unique visitors online each month with a vibrant social media presence.”
Modeled after the most iconic gossip column in the nation, the summer preview was hosted by actor, comedian and broadcaster John Fugelsang (Sirius XM/VH1). Contributors included former “Sex and the City” actor and fixture on “The View” Mario Cantone, “Fashion Queens” host Bevy Smith, Variety entertain
