The Orville Season 2 unrenewed?
Fox has reduced the sci-fi comedy’s Season 1 episode order by one episode, TVGuide reports:
TV Guide has learned the show will see its Season 1 episode count cut by one, meaning the originally planned 13-episode debut season will now be an even dozen episodes. The change means the Season 1 finale will air on Thursday, Dec. 7.
However, the reduction doesn’t spell danger to the already renewed series, with the missing episode moving over to the show’s second season:
Don’t blow your top like Darulio, though, Orville fans. That lost episode will be beamed over to the series’ second season, which will likely air in the fall of 2018. That’s not an unusual move for Fox, which did something similar with Lucifer during its second season run when it moved four episodes to the following season.
Are you a fan of The Orville? How do you feel about the news? Looking forward to Season 2? Already worried about Season 3?
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the cancel/renew status of The Orville Season 3…

So will this episode be aired out of order like Lucifer is?
George Lewis says
When a show is a great hit like ORVILLE, a much larger season should be produced. Wish they’d cut out the deviant parts though.

Agree, love the show, tired of having it crammed down my throat. Reason I no longer watch Supergirl.

My son and I are loving The Orville, much more so than the new Star Trek. He’ll continue watching Star Trek, but agrees that The Orville is more like the old Star Trek that we both loved. The final episode carrying over is a minor issue. It didn’t stop me from watching Lucifer, and as I recap old episodes of a show after a break anyway, continuity isn’t a problem. I’m just relieved The Orville isn’t being cancelled.

I appreciate the information this site provides but those clickbaity misleading headlines are getting more disgusting every day!

I totally agree. It’s completely unnecessary and unfair.

Is there a misleading headline or is there something afoot?

Great show although I wish less comedy and just pure updating of traditional Star Trek
