Nashville Season 6? It’s not a done deal yet, but the music drama looks set to continue its stay at CMT in 2018, if network chief Kevin Kay‘s optimism is anything to go by, per Deadline:
I believe Nashville has a lot of life in it. I know that Rayna has passed away in a highly rated episode, and then the funeral was even more highly rated. We will see how the audience reacts to Nashville and the next 11 episodes but I believe that there are great fans of the show and it’s got a good future ahead of it, we are encouraged that we can continue to do it. I honestly think it’s a great show, Ive been a fan of it forever.
Kay says he’s open to moving Nashville to sister network Paramount, but is “inclined to leave it [on CMT], adding:
I think that’s where it should be and maybe try to support it on Paramount Network with marathons, replays.
Ellie Marz says
We love Nashville! Please keep it on CMT.
Nancy Wesson says
I won’t watch it again after they killed off Rayna. I cried out “Nashville just kill me now” when she died. I don’t think it has a chance. There isn’t enough music, anymore, either. Kind of sucks without Rayna.
