Syndicated game shows Jeopardy and Wheel Of Fortune will be sticking around for even longer.
Jeopardy is currently airing its 33rd season, while Wheel of Fortune is in its 34th season. The shows were already renewed for a 34th and 35th season (2017-18), respectively.
Now, Sony Pictures Television has renewed both shows for a further two seasons, keeping them alive through the 2019-20 season, THR reveals.
Harry Friedman, exec producer of both shows, said:
“Pat, Vanna and Alex are beloved by generations of TV viewers, and the enduring popularity of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy is a testament to their incredible talents. All of us at Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and Sony Pictures Television are thrilled that they will continue through the 2019-20 season.”
In all, Jeopardy is safe through Season 36, while Wheel of Fortune will continue spinning through Season 37.
