Hemlock Grove Season 4?
Executive producer Eli Roth has hinted that despite Hemlock Grove‘s cancellation on Netflix, the show might find a fourth season afterlife elsewhere, per Variety:
“These horror properties are like zombies. They never die.”
Roth also suggested the horror series was cancelled as it no longer fit the Netflix brand:
“HBO did a great HBO of defining what an ‘HBO show’ is. Netflix is defining what a ‘Netflix show’ is now, and we don’t fit into that.”
As for the end of the Hemlock Grove itself (fourth season revival hopes aside), Roth expressed sadness that it was claimed by the Cancellation Reaper, but also pride at the show’s run:
“I’m kind of sad it’s coming to an end… But we got three fantastic seasons of the weirdest, craziest, sex-and-violence-filled shows ever and I’m really proud of it.”
