Cancelled by Amazon, Good Girls Revolt is attempting a Season 2 comeback elsewhere. Per THR, multiple networks are reportedly in contention to save the period drama:
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that ABC, Freeform, USA Network, Bravo and Hulu are in the running to pick up the Dana Calvo created drama for a second season, with Netflix and Lifetime both considered longshots. Sony Pictures Television declined comment.
Sony Pictures Television, whose TriStar Television banner was behind the 10-episode series, has until Dec. 31 — when the cast options expire — to find a new home for Good Girls Revolt. Although given the upcoming holiday break, an extension on the cast options is not considered unlikely. Good Girls Revolt will maintain its spot in the California Film Commission’s tax incentive program should it find a new home.
Will this be a rare reversal for the cancellation reaper? Stay tuned as we monitor the revival prospects of Good Girls Revolt Season 2…
