GLOW Season 2? The wrestling comedy has been a real binge-driver since its Season 1 release on Friday, but Netflix has yet to crown the series with an early Season 2 renewal.
Speaking on Entertainment Weekly Radio, star Alison Brie admitted the cast are in the dark over the future of GLOW:
We don’t know. We really don’t know. I think we won’t know until…everybody gets a chance to see it.”
However, should GLOW Season 2 eventually take to the ring, co-star Marc Maron has one big hope:
“All I’m hoping is, if it happens, it shoots at the same place. Because I live in Los Angeles and I got this role and I was like, ‘Oh, f—, I’m going to have to drive to the Culver City!’ But then it turned out there were these studios I didn’t know about 10 minutes from my house in Atwater. I was like, a pair of studios in Atwater?!?”
With Girlboss cancelled, there’s even more space for GLOW Season 2. The comedy-drama is expected to return in 2018, per insiders. Stay tuned as we await more Intel on the future of GLOW…
Wes Meyerholtz says
Liked the first episode very much. Already so much better than the original GLOW which ruined the reputation of professional women’s wrestling. It is interesting and entertaining how this show was conceived and the lives of the women on it, though. It should be renewed.
