Girl Meets World series creator/EP Michael Jacobs has commented on the show’s four-season deal that was hijacked by the cancellation reaper, per TVLine:
“We signed up to do four years. Whatever Disney Channel’s business model is, we always tailored the show for four years. We wanted to basically do the seven years of Boy Meets World in four years of Girl Meets World. We had some really wonderful plans for the fourth season. Knowing there was a possibility that it could end, we came up with ‘Girl Meets Goodbye.’”
On whether he would still return to Girl Meets World Season 4 should the series find a new home (with Netflix reportedly out of the running):
“I’d want to make sure everyone else would come back. I’d want to continue it as it was going. We really got into a groove there.”
Hopefully there’s another venue out there that realizes there’s an audience that loves this. There are many stories to tell. Maybe there’s an incarnation where we can do this and get both the old audience and the new audience. The last thing we’d want to do is overstay our welcome, but I think we died prematurely here.”
Will Girl Meets World Season 4 ever find a new home or is this the final goodbye? Stay tuned…

I guess it was jut to clean for Disney the girls didn’t wear pants that show everything like KC and a few more the show was a true life show about growing up and with great friends I wish Disney would wake up and do the right thing and do the 4 season. it was rated the 3 best show on Disney so you tell us the fans why you cancel a great show it you would show it before 8:30 it would do better.
