DirecTV/AT&T have renewed anthology series Full Circle for Season 3, to air in 2016.
Dougray Scott and Kim Raver will lead the ensemble drama’s third season which explores the dark underbelly of national politics.
Per Deadline:
[Season 3] focuses on a sex scandal that threatens to destroy a Presidential candidate and stop his almost certain election. Like season 2 of Full Circle, which was written by Keith Huff, the upcoming season will expand upon the original format of Neil LaBute’s season 1, in which we see a daisy chain of characters interacting with each other through the ten episodes. The main thrust of each episode takes place in a high-end hotel in Miami during the days leading up to the Democratic primary. Like with the previous two seasons, Full Circle plans to assemble a cast of established TV actors, starting with Scott and Raver.
Christopher Long, SVP, Original Content & Production, AT&T, said of the renewal:
“Full Circle is an incredibly thought-provoking series. A seasoned and talented TV writer like Jorge Zamacona will give the show’s intense dialog a brand new feel this season. His writing will lure viewers into the world of conspiracy and politics— which pairs perfectly as we enter into our presidential election season.”
