Originally the series would have relied only on Gordon’s early days with the Gotham City Police Department, but the series subsequently included the Wayne character and the origin stories of several Batman villains, including Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Hugo Strange, Ra’s al Ghul, and Solomon Grundy.

I know it’s a foregone conclusion, but I am disappointed the series will end this year, after 100 episodes. There is so much more to tell about the characters, especially Bruce Wayne, Penguin, Riddler, James Gordon, Harvey Bullock, and all the others. It’s a very well written and entertaining show and I will miss it… Sigh

I totally agree. It’s so unfortunate that there wasnt more people watching it. I’m really bummed they made this decision because the people who did watch, really enjoyed the show. I hope the last few episodes make someone want to pick it up.
