Flip or Flop salvaged. HGTV has revived the renovation reality series for Season 8, months after it was cancelled.
Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, People reports that stars Tarek and Christina El Moussa have signed on for Season 8, while proceeding with their divorce:
“Tarek and I have been working together for a long time and we look forward to continuing to work together on Flip or Flop,” Christina tells PEOPLE in a exclusive statement. Adds Tarek: “From the beginning, HGTV has shown Christina and me tremendous support and we are excited to go out there and flip many more houses for Flip or Flop.”
Said HGTV GM Allison Page in a statement:
“Tarek and Christina’s expertise and success flipping houses has made Flip or Flop an audience favorite on HGTV for many seasons. The series is so successful because it shows how real estate and renovation savvy can lead to financial success.”
Barring further flip-flopping, Flip or Flop Season 8 is slated to premiere December 2017.
Stay tuned as we now monitor the renew/cancel status of Flip or Flop Season 9 and the various spinoff shows…

Damn! I was looking forward to NOT having to listen to her whiney voice! They are so annoying to watch. And yes, I DON”T watch their show, however, the ads are freakin’ everywhere and you can’t avoid them if you watch anything on HGTV.

The original is much better than that Flip or Flop Vegas spin-off show.

YES!! Don’t care about the drama the two are GENIUSES!! He in business, she in design. One can’t do as well without the other (foolishness)!! Good decision HGTV!! Now I MIGHT be willing to check out the spin~offs knowing they aren’t replacements because you can’t.
