Flip or Flop might be cancelled after its upcoming seventh season, but the home renovation series will live on in franchise spirit.
HGTV has ordered five Flip or Flop spinoff shows, with new couples donning the tool belts worn by outgoing hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa, US Weekly reports:
Flip or Flop is tackling its most ambitious project yet. HGTV’s hit home renovation series, set in Southern California, will expand to Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Texas and Las Vegas in 2017 and 2018, Us Weekly reveals exclusively in the new issue.
Premiering first: Flip or Flop Las Vegas with Bristol and Aubrey Marunde, who bring “glam” to their Sin City homes, says Aubrey, 34. “I bring in a lot of chandeliers and lighting and hardware and things that take the properties over the top,” she says. Adds MMA fighter Bristol, 34: “She loves crystals.”

Gayle Zachariasen says
If you continue the original Flip or Flop, do NOT just keep Christina on. She added very little to the show other than ridiculous cost overruns. The real muscle and brains behind this show was Tarik. As someone who has built and sold and rehabbed houses, I found Chrisinta’s obsession in spending needless money in pursuit of her wow factor, wasteful and not necessarily what resulted in the house being a successful flip. The house that Tarik designed when Christina was pregnant was one of their most original and well-done designs. I never tuned into this show to listen to Christina’s screechy voice insist on foolish expenditures or scream every time she saw a bug. Barbie doll’s don’t make for realistic house flipping. Get real!
