October 22, 2014 – CSI Season 15 gets trimmed from 22 to 18 episodes. The decision is reportedly more about inventory than ratings, with the likes of CSI: Cyber, Vince Gilligan’s Battle Creek and the final season of The Mentalist yet to premiere this season.

Nathan says
Don’t cancel CSI. I know it has ran for 15 years now but I’m not ready for it to go quite yet because there are storylines on there that I would like to see resolved and Grissom hasn’t come back yet. If we get a Season 16, move it out of Sundays at 10 and back to another timeslot that will keep it going. Moving it to Sundays was a horrible decision, plus it was doing just fine on Wednesdays!
dji says
it’s canceled. saw it on ncis tonight.
Susan Brooks-Cragun says
I agree with Nathan, please don’t cancel it! It’s too good! I miss Grissom, and I too am waiting for him to come back, although I do like Russell as well, they should try to work both guys in! Please don’t cancel!
JANNETTE RIDGEWAY says

Deb Daly says
Yes, CSI. Miami in
I’m already tired of same reruns, and I just began watching this show in 2015
Martin says
Come on, CBS! What are you waiting for? Renew CSI for season 16, already! Please! Why don’t you just run it for at least 20 seasons? Like NBC did with Law & Order.
Janet says
Please DO NOT CANCEL CSI. It was the first original show of the CSI’s and was the best of all of them. I truly feel like I was loosing a very good friend. I have watched ever episode in the 15 years running. They all were good. The new actors as they joined the team fit almost immediately into their characters. Creg has been there the whole time. I just couldn’t imagine CBS without them. I also really enjoy CSI Cyber. But without the original it’s not going to be the same.

Why do these networks decide to cancel the few intelligent shows they have.?News flash: not everyone is a silly drama addicted idiot watching stupid loud mouthed (with nothing to say) “reality” shows. I am not watching the Cyber CSI for fear I will like it and they will cancel it. They have done it to every series I have watched..including Intelligence. So done.
carmen pellegrino says
I know you have already cancelled this show but I have watched it from the beginning and loved it this is the last of the csi”s. I will miss it to bad you are cancelling it, great show.

I’ve seen CSI cyber and I can honestly say, I don’t like it very much. Patricia Arquette is boring with her monotone voice, there is no life to it. I just about fell asleep watching the first show. I wish they would keep the original CSI, but with most of the original cast gone, it isn’t the same as it once was, but still fun and err, educational to watch. At least I’ll know what NOT to do if I ever decide to kill someone. But then again, I’m not a violent person and I hate having to clean up messes.
