CBS will finish this season as America’s most-watched network for the 13th time in 14 years.
Season-to-date, the Network is also #1 in adults 18-49 and 25-54.
Of course, Person Of Interest has long since been cancelled (though CBS only admitted so recently) and will debut its fifth and final season on May 23.
CBS chief Les Moonves recently said the network intends to renew freshmen entries Limitless, Supergirl, Code Black, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and Life In Pieces, but has yet to officially confirm their fate.
Will the network keep its word and renew ALL five? The Cancellation Reaper will put that to the test in the days and weeks ahead. Stay tuned…

Thank you CBS for renewing most of my, (and others), favorite shows, and making the announcement in March, instead of in May, (which is what the network did last year). I am really happy they renewed Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: LA, Mom, and Two Broke Girls, in addition to NCIS and The Big Bang Theory.
I am unhappy that Person of Interest, Mike and Molly, and The Good Wife are going off the air, however, they were wonderful while they lasted and there is life afterwards in syndication.
No wonder CBS is number 1 in total viewers, 18 – 49, and 25 – 54 age groups.

What about Criminal Minds? It has consistently been in Top 20 (mostly Top 10) since it began. Please tell me this is going to be renewed.

So very happy to see Blue Bloods has been renewed for 2016-2017. Terrific show. Great cast. Thanks, CBS! Glad too about Madam Secretary. Certainly hope Code Black will also be renewed.

Thank goodness NCIS LA has been renewed! Was one of a handful of my shows I was waiting to hear about. Love it more than the Original NCIS. Haven’t watched New Orleans at all, didn’t like the cast in the backdoor pilot episode so never wanted to watch it.

Criminal Minds is almost always a May, last minute, renewal due to budget talks with ABC who joint owns the show with CBS. Other CBS, (owned), programs are usually renewed in March.
The most likely reason Criminal Minds will be renewed; CBS just started airing a spin off; Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and it’s getting good ratings.
When was the last time a network released a spin off of a show and cancelled the original program in the same season? I doubt if that has ever happened.
Criminal Minds has a 95 – 99% chance of renewal. There have been no leaks to the press, or the internet, or any buzz feed about the show coming to an end, as there was about The Good Wife, Mike and Molly, and Person of Interest. In this day and age, if Criminal Minds was about to shut down, somebody would probably be talking about it, and no one is saying anything negative about the series coming to an end.

Please renew Supergirl…such a good show and very much a part of the multiverse! Let’s get a 4-night crossover going between Supergirl, Flash, Arrow, and Legends…it would be EPIC!
