For FX, ending its relationship with C.K. meant that the studio would cancel the overall deal it had with the comedian and his production company Pig Newton, and he’d be removed as an executive producer on the four shows he was producing with the network — Baskets, One Mississippi, The Cops and Better Things. On the latter, C.K. was heavily involved, and is credited with co-writing every episode of the second season with co-creator Pamela Adlon. On stage, Landgraf insisted that Better Things is “Pamela’s show” and that he’s “optimistic and confident” about the upcoming third season. “Louis was her co-writer, so she’s going to have to write them all herself or find another co-writer — but she’s the creative engine of that show and that won’t change,” he said.

How do you feel about FX’s decision to continue Better Things but cancel its deal with Louis C.K.? Looking forward to Season 3? Hoping for Better Things Season 4, 5 and beyond?

‘Guilt by association’, is all too often the normal response to people or things that had nothing to do with the crime. For example you happen to go to a place with a friend and the place gets busted by the cops as a known drug outlet. The poor sap who happened to be there with his friend gets arrested too. He’s booked, put in a cell, and often mistreated by the cops because you say you didn’t know about it being a drug place.
By the time you prove your innocence (if you ever prove it) the damage is done. You now have a record, bad press and mistrust from all who knew you.
How is that fair??????
What if someone finally finds the cure for cancer and it’s saving all the people with cancer. Then……… someone accused the inventor of doing something wrong………. Do we just stop using the cure????????
Come on people………… what happened to common sense??????

Oh, BTW… I forgot to mention, I have never seen this show. I’m just saying that we need to stop lumping everything into one pile.
It seems, imo, that more hate is being generated by the same people who claim to be stopping the hate.
