If he were to make the show in 2017, Moore said that he wasn’t quite sure how he would approach it from political and social angles. If the show was made today, he theorized that the main difference would be structural.
As Moore noted, “serialized TV was frowned upon” back then (the “Battlestar” miniseries aired in 2003 and the full series arrived the following year). “There was no way to catch up on shows, DVR penetration wasn’t that high. Networks wanted each episode to stand alone. Today we would write it as a flat-out serial.”

Would you watch a Battlestar Galactica Season 5 revival, particularly one that was fully serialized?

This would be cool to have as a Reboot tv show as long as the older ones are avaivable on Netflix or Hulu to watch as of now or before hand. I use to absolutely Love Battlestar Galactica and would Definitely watch it if it came on again.. Please bring it on again that would be awesome I love all of my old shows coming back as Reboots, Thanks so much…

Hope they do bring back a revival of Battlestar Gallactica. I watched all of the original series and loved it. I love Grace Park on Hawaii 5-0, and wish she could do both shows. So glad all the original cast would be on it (maybe they can bring back the original Starbucks even if it is a ghostly presence!)
