Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are on course to be renewed for the 2018-19 season, CW chief Mark Pedowitz has revealed.
Speaking to EW, Pedowitz said he’s “optimistic” all four shows will be renewed in the next couple of weeks:
“At the moment, it’s a little too soon. We’re noted for announcing at winter TCA that we’re picking up shows, we just weren’t ready to do that yet. A couple more weeks [and] we’ll probably get around to it. I’m pretty confident we’ll see them all back.”
The news comes on the heels of the early third season renewal of Riverdale, which RenewCancelTV exclusively revealed in December.
On why the network isn’t quite ready to ‘confirm’ the renewals of Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow, Pedowitz offered:
“We’re not quite ready to do that. We’re a couple of weeks out. I’m pretty confident a lot of the [CW] slate is coming back. We’re just not ready to make that a formal announcement yet. It is only Jan. 7. It’s just a question of the board and I getting together and having a discussion about it. We just weren’t ready with the holidays and this came just days later. We’ll get there. I’m confident most of our schedule is coming back.”
Should Pedowtiz’s confidence hold, Arrow will be renewed for Season 7; The Flash for Season 5; Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow for Season 4.
One-and-done Valor has already been cancelled, as we first revealed back in November.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the renewal/cancel status of Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow and all other CW TV shows…

They’re not sure who’s taking over after they fired the pervert that took care of those shows. Good luck ! Hope they keep at least the flash and super girl. DC legends has turned into a joke and as for arrow pff. not really interested . I watch it only when they have cross overs.

This thought is on the heels of the #metoo movement. They will loose a lot of viewers if they plan to divide the time slot for super girl and dc legends. They mentioned it last month.
