APB exec producer Trey Callaway has reacted to the cancellation of the police drama after one season.
In a statement, Callaway expressed ‘disappointment’ at the demise of the series, which was first revealed by RenewCancelTV, and touched on the “amazing stories” he had planned for Season 2:
“We had many amazing stories left to tell, but I’m incredibly proud of everything we accomplished — and I couldn’t be more grateful to our writers, producers, directors, cast, crew, execs, and fans around the world for such an unforgettable experience. From LA to Chicago and back again, APB was an absolutely blast from beginning to end. Long live the 13th District!”
Thank you all for everything. It was an incredible ride. @FOXTV @APBonFOX @ApbFoxwriters @ApbFanclub #APB #gideonites #ponytailofjustice pic.twitter.com/DrsCYFaSut

Will you miss APB or did FOX make the right call? With the FOX conveyor belt in constant, ruthless motion, will you watch APB‘s replacement TV show next season?
Vickey says
I really liked APB canceling it was a big mistake I will not watch what they put in their place I’m getting really sick of good shows been canceled That was a super good show I wish another network would pick it up
Charles Britton says
Someone really really really needs to pick this up.Its awful how they cancel good shows like they have a quota to meet or something
Nancy Landers says
I hate the fact that FOX is NOT renewing APB…I loved that show and it should go on. Like the person above,,,it is a good show and all of the good shows are being cancelled. I too am sick of it.
Diane Miller says
I agree with the other posts. Cancelling APB was a gross mistake! Whatever FOX replaces it with I won’t be watching.
mark quijada says
What the hell is wrong with you. With the best shows on Fox and you turn around and pull it off and put on a show that nobody wants to see. Wake up!
John says
Another great tech related show cancelled. Person’s of Interest, Cyber:CSI, Almost Humane…the list goes on. As said before I will not watch any replacement show. Would be nice if Netflix or another network picked it up!
LeeAnn says
I totally agree with the other posts. I think it is very odd that all the good programs are being cancelled. I don’t know what age group you’re going with on this, but I’m over 65 yrs., and I, as well as my friends love APB. We can’t wait for it to come on each week.
Steve B says
I do not believe FOX made the right call at all.

I also think cancelling APB was a mistake. The more interesting shows get cancelled so that a reality show or comedy gets put on in place? There are too many of those already on TV. I don’t watch much TV to start with and this one was interesting. Would have been nice to see where there show could go. Hope as well that another network is interested in picking up the series.
wayne says
I defiantly will miss this show. It was better than some of the other shows that FOX kept. I hope someone else picks it up and lets see where they go with it.

fox is nearing the off the radar for tv viewing with the apb cancellation. i can think of no shows of interest to me.
Betty Kurtz says
This doesn’t surprise me. They take off the good shows then will put some stupid show up that isn’t worth the money they spent making it to begin with. My husband and I really liked this show and loved how he would come up with these new ideas for a new invention.

So sad to see this show cancelled. It has just the right mix of drama, action and humor to keep it interesting. It has been one of my very favorite shows to watch and I never missed an episode. It was nice to watch something that was lighthearted and offered some humor to relax and unwind a bit before bedtime. I will really miss it and hope that they change their mind. Sometimes it takes a show more than one season to really catch on. So many new show all at one time and people just have to make choices as to what to try first. Well first choice often turns out to be wrong and by the time they find something else that they like its to late for the almighty ratings. Seen it happen many times on many channels. Wish they would at least give more shows a second season chance especially if they are walking that ratings line.
Tom R says
APB was a great show! The other alternatives are crap! Move it time wise and see the watchers grow! Plus millions of people use DVR or on demand to watch shows!
Susan says
Please! Somebody pick this show up. Get rid of who ever made this stupid decision. My husband and I are in our 60’s and thought this show was one of the best on TV. I sure they are probably replacing it with some stupid mindless show that we won’t be watching. I’m not sure which network Pure Genius was on but that was another good show cancelled after only on season.
Maybe the networks should let the viewers vote yes or no on cancelations.
Sally Broadhurst says
Another wonderful and innovative drama cancelled by fox. Keep playing your crappy shows and soon you won’t have a station to play them on. Is your far right gang saying the programs are too risky for their moral standards? Funny that they were all good before Trump got into office. I think you guys need new management because unless you ask the public what they want and also some of these shows go to DVR for people who can’t watch at the normal time, you are missing the boat. So that is 4 shows that I love that you guys, and I know it’s guys because girls wouldn’t have done this, have cancelled which leaves crap on your channel. Cooking shows, reality crap, and comic strip shows. Why don’t you program for adults not children?
Aggie says
Big mistake. This show is the only one on the air that deals specifically with how technology, if police were given it to use with respect to all citizens’ rights, can change America. For once we HAD a show that brings police to closer to the world our young people know. Look at all other cops/robber shows. All the police are shown working in the world of 1990’s technology. For once there was a show bringing our youth closer to knowing cops as they will work in the future (and should be working with today) when all police stations are equipped with the same technology available and used by our youth.
L.L. says
Fox wants a ton of money from the network providers to have them on their programming, but they are cancelling all the good shows. If you don’t have any good shows playing then maybe the network providers should renegotiate their contracts or drop them.
