Time is almost up for Timeless, but can its cancellation fate be stopped? With Season 2 ‘on the bubble’ at best, co-creator Eric Kripke has rallied fans in a last-ditch attempt to save the show:
“Timeless is what they call a ‘bubble show’. It may come back next year, it may not. That depends almost entirely on what happens over the next five weeks. We’re damn proud of the show; the actors are killing it; the reviews are great; and our DVR ratings are quite respectable. It’s the live viewer ratings (the people who watch Monday at 10, when it airs) that need some help.”

Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the cancel/renew status of Timeless Season 2…

I have now written to NBC twice requesting this show be renewed. “Timeless” educates in an entertaining way and is unique in that way. It may be a victim of its 10:00 PM EST time slot. I’d watch it live if it was shown earlier in the evening. While “This Is Us” gets all the attention, I believe the “Timeless” audience is more diverse and would be watched by more young people and working folks alike if it was shown at, say, 8:00 AM EST..

This is my third post about this show. Its unique and historically interesting, educational, decent, and most of all it was the first one about time travel!. I have learned things about historical events that I never knew and I wanted to be a high school history teacher. There’s more stories to tell and so many more years to travel to, they just scratched the surface of places and people in time.
PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THIS SHOW!

With so many new tv shows every season, it’s understandable but unfortunate when a
top-notch show such as this one falls thru the cracks. It’s got it all — good personable actors,
good cohesive writing every week, ongoing plot, and interesting history to boot.
Give it another season, it’ll be HUGE !

I love this show. It is interesting and educational as well. I agree with some of the other fans about putting it in an earlier time slot. You will get new, younger and working viewers as well as the already committed fan you have now. Hope it gets renewed for season 2 !!!!!!

I watch this show every week, it is entertaining & gives an historical perspective.
Unfortunately like many others, the broadcast time is not generally optimum so it is regularly set to DVR.
Cancellation would be most unfortunate but expected of NBC which is a network quickly being surpassed by the major cable networks such as USA, TNT, TBS, AMC.

Damn, yet another series I like going into the hopper. It’s enough to make one insane, getting involved with a story for weeks, months, or even years, then having it end arbitrarily. It’s also enough to make me go back to reading books, at least you know that there’s a complete story waiting to be told.
