The Stranger Things end date has been set, according to David Harbour.
Talking to TVLine, the actor admitted the Netflix sci-fi series wont run for an indefinite amount of seasons, ala The Walking Dead, noting that the creators know how and when the show will end:
“We don’t have an open-ended thing like The Walking Dead. There is an end to all these characters… We’re going to give you something fun and then we’re going to get out before we’ve worn out our welcome. We have a specific story that we’re going to tell.”
Harbour went on to tease that series creators Matt and Ross Duffer divulged to him exactly when they planned to concluded Stranger Things, a tidbit he, sadly, declined to share with me.
As previously suggested, Stranger Things will run for around 4-5 seasons before the end game comes into play, unlikely cancellation aside.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the renew/cancel status of Stranger Things Season 3…
