Sleepy Hollow remains cancelled after after four seasons, but what would have happened in the coveted fifth season had the series survived? Janina Gavankar spilled some beans to TVLine:
“I do think that we ended on a great note, story-wise. Crane is off in [Washington,] D.C. He’s really found his footing. Jenny and he have found a new home there. And, as we saw in the final moments of the series finale, he and Diana are going off strong, taking down a kraken, of all things!”
In fact, that mythical sea beast likely would’ve returned in a “big, big case” at the start of Season 5, continued the actress, who next will voice a character in the Star Wars: Battlefront II video game. “How do we handle the sirens and the kraken, all water-worldly creatures?”
On whether Diana’s daughter Molly/Lara would have featured in Season 5, the actress said:
“Nobody told me the answer, yet they were deciding whether or not Lara – older Molly – was going to be part of the cast and all the stories. I wanted to know what happened to my baby daddy. Did we call to tell him, ‘It’s OK, we know in that you’re not a werewolf?’”
Would you have watched that version of Sleepy Hollow? Still mad the show was cancelled? Glad the show was finally put to sleep by the reaper?
Still upset says
I am still upset with Fox for cancelling another great show. This show was great and a million ways to go with the show. Just like they cancelled Second Chance another great show with a lot of story line to tell. Fox you need to stop getting rid of great shows!!!!!!!

I’m with you. It was a good show and had a lot of room to develop the story line in different directions. Please bring it back.

They also canceled “Firefly” some years back!
Karen says

Really liked this series. Looked forward to every show. Not happy it’s gone, but as with all good shows, someone decided to pull the plug. Come on, Fox, quit cancelling the good shows, and lay off the sports.
Mattie says
Great show, such a shame it was cancelled. Bring it back!

only show I ever binge watched and the only TV series I truly followed. there is so much reality drek on tv. sad that FOX prefers to produce the cheap crap to quality. I make a point to stay away from anything FOX now

I too am really disappointed that Fox cancelled this show and a few others. It seems like all the crap shows get renewed over and over and the really good shows get cancelled. I think the world is upside down any more…what use to be good is bad now and what use to be bad is supposedly good now. Just WRONG!

Fox used to be my favorite TV station, & now they’re completely off my radar. I finally threw in the towel when they canceled “Sleepy Hollow.” There are so few programs left worth viewing on any station these days, especially with all the crap reality shows they’re shoving down our throats. When “Sleepy Hollow” had its season finale, I couldn’t wait for the new season to begin. There were so many stories waiting to be told. I give up. I’ll just stream old “classic” shows online.
Kat says
Fox, you need to quit killing the good shows and replacing them with scrappy females of gameshows.
Kat says
That’s not what I said, why can’t we edit?
Kat says
Crappy gameshows

So disappointed with Fox. Sleepy Hollow was a unique show that had so many plot possibilities. At least Gotham is still going strong.
Jackie says
Really enjoyed Sleepy Hollow; looked forward to it every week. Another good show taken off the air. Makes you want to stop watching TV.

Bloody chicken s**t Yank company men. It’s always the same, if a show changes direction/location or main pprotagonist, they ‘PANIC!’ My Gods, the ratings will plummet, we’ll lose the advertisers! Quick axe it!
S3, ended on a bummer, S4 started slow but by all thats holy give it a chance! Grow a pair and stand up for what is a good show and could still be a great one…. ( yes I am Angry! you Yanks do this to us Brits too often…. ) Maybe I should curse the company men to shriveled cahones, not the occasional female company member, as they tend to be a little more intelligent!
So any production company that has decent cahones ( I do like that word, don’t I?) grab the rights to ‘Sleepy hollow’ kidnap it’s writers, and do waht the other spineless, spleenless lily livered buggars failed to do, Gives us back ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Sorry to see this show go. I really enjoyed all 4 seasons storylines. I am tired of these networks canceling the good shows only to put on these stupid brainless reality shows.
I hope another network decides to pick it up.
Pami says
I agree with Michael. Totally disappointed over the cancellation of Sleepy Hollow! Loved that show….

I am really upset with Fox since they took off Sleepy Hollow. It’s the first time when the show was over tears came to my eyes knowing it was the last show. I really enjoyed it. So sad.
Jeri says
I am very upset with FOX as well for removing Sleepy Hollow from their line up. Reality TV stinks and it is becoming harder and harder to find anything decent or good and fun to watch. You finally find something you really like and somebody takes it off the air. Just another reason I have been moving further away from network television and closer to other channels such as Hallmark TV, etc. They have good shows. They are funny and very enjoyable and you don’t have to worry about kids walking in the room when it’s on the screen. It seems like the networks pick and choose what they want to keep and make sure if they don’t want it, they can move it to a bad time slot and get rid of it. Pretty lousy FOX.

I am very disappointed Sleepy Hallow should have never been cancelled. That show is excellent and I looked forward to watching it. The same go’s for Fire Fly before it to was cancelled. What Fox 47 needs to do instead of cancelling good shows is to fix their TV reception problem. Myself and several other people I know have been having a problem with the Fox 47 channels constantly disconnecting.
Ever since we were forged to change to the crappie digital signal Fox 47 has been cutting out in the middle of TV shows. This is while watching it on a digital television, so there is not supposed to be any reason for constantly loosing the television reception. I hate digital television and it is a real downer when you are in the middle of watching Sven Ghouly or any of my favorite programs only to have the television channel cut out.
