Mr. Robot continues to extend its UK reach and revenue, with Universal Channel acquiring rights to the hacker drama.
The 10-episode first season of Mr. Robot will hit Universal Channel from Thursday July 21, with back-to-back episodes.
With additional revenue and exposure in a key market, the deal enhances those Mr. Robot Season 3 renewal odds.
Season 2 premieres July 13 on USA Network.

The Golden Globe® award-winning drama Mr. Robot is coming to Universal Channel.
The UK TV premiere of Season 1 will launch on Thursday 21st July with a special feature-length, uninterrupted double episode.This critically acclaimed series stars Rami Malek (The Pacific) in a break out performance as Elliot, a young computer programmer who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. One day, Elliot finds himself at a crossroad when the mysterious leader (Christian Slater – Nymphomaniac) of an underground hacker group recruits him to join their organization and destroy the firm he is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the heads of multinational companies he is convinced are running – and ruining – the world.
Mr. Robot has garnered several awards including two Golden Globe® Awards for Best Television Series – Drama and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Christian Slater), a Peabody Award, three Critics’ Choice Awards for Best Drama Series, Best Actor in a Drama Series (Rami Malek) and Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Christian Slater), a Writers Guild Award for New Series, an IPA Satellite Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Miniseries or Motion Picture made for Television (Christian Slater), the AFI Award for Television Program of the Year and the Audience Award in the Episodics Category at South by Southwest.
