ITV confirms new exclusive deal with Jonathan Ross and two more series of The Jonathan Ross Show for 2015
ITV has confirmed a new exclusive deal with broadcaster and talk show host Jonathan Ross keeping him on the channel until at least the end of 2015.
He will record two new series and a Christmas special of his eponymous show during 2015.
Jonathan Ross said: “I’ve been lucky enough to interview some of the biggest stars around on The Jonathan Ross Show and I’m delighted that I’ll continue to do so for ITV until at least the end of 2015 with two series booked for the channel for next year. This Saturday I have Russell Brand, Lyndsey Lohan, Daniel Radcliffe and Rio Ferdinand on the couch and there’s plenty more to come.”
ITV’s Director of Entertainment and Comedy Elaine Bedell said: “Jonathan is the king of talk shows and a valued member of the ITV family. He continues to attract the biggest names in showbiz onto his sofa and I am delighted that he will remain on the channel until at least the end of 2015.”
Since joining the channel in autumn 2011 Jonathan has interviewed some of the most famous people in sport, TV, film and music including David Beckham, Richard Branson, Oprah Winfrey, Andy Murray, Tom Hanks, Keifer Sutherland, Kylie Minogue, Will Ferrell, Bradley Cooper, Sandra Bullock, Liam Neeson, Damien Lewis and Sir David Attenborough.
Music acts have included Coldpay, Lady Gaga, Eminem, John Legend, Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Marrs, Taylor Swift and Tinie Tempah.
