Showtime has cancelled House of Lies after five seasons. The network has decided not to continue the comedy-drama into Season 6.
Showtime president and CEO David Nevins said of the cancellation:
“House of Lies is a comedy that has frequently been ahead of the curve. Over the course of its five seasons, it has tackled such hot-button topics as gender identity, wealth inequality, white privilege, police brutality, interracial relationships, and code-switching with honesty and a biting sense of humor. Matthew Carnahan and Don Cheadle have been dream partners and impeccable leaders. The core cast of Don, Kristen, Ben and Josh are one of the best comedy teams on television. They have brought the series to an incredibly satisfying conclusion with this historic final episode shot in Cuba.”
The House of Lies series finale premieres June 12, 2016.
RIP.

I loved this show but also feel that it’s come to its natural ending with the finale for season 5, which I loved. Thanks for all the great entertainment to House of Lies cast and production folks.

NO!!!!!!!!! I guess that is why Marty married Jeanie and completely turned his life around! at least there was no cliffhanger that left fans hanging. that is the ONLY good thing about the cancellation
