Hart of Dixie has been cancelled after four seasons.
Series creator Leila Gerstein confirmed that the show will not continue into a fifth season, but promised a “tremendously satisfying” conclusion:

Actor Scott Porter confirms Hart of Dixie‘s cancellation via Twitter, noting that the ratings weren’t good enough for continuation.

Dark tv….killing….death…drugs….illicit behavior….I guess that’s what rocks your network. Once you have a halfway decent, fun to watch, laugh out loud, makes you smile kind of drama/comedy like Hart of Dixie, then you can’t spend enough time and effort advertising it to keep it on the air. It’s sad when all the networks showcase so much negativity. No wonder we have so many problems in our world.
