unHappy ending?
Syfy has pushed the series premiere of Happy! back by a week. Originally set to bow Nov. 29, the animated/live-action series will now debut 10PM December 6.
Happy! is based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name. The series follows Nick Sax – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hit man – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse named Happy (Patton Oswalt).
The cabler has not provided a reason for the delay, though the series is still in the running for Season 2 at this very early stage. However, the cancellation reaper remains on high-alert.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the cancel/renew status of Happy Season 2!
