Kimberley Nixon has confirmed that there’s “huge hope” for a second series of Sky1’s Critical and that talks have taken place for a potential 2016 return.
The actress told Digital Spy:
“I’m not sure if it’s coming back for a second series. I think there’s definitely a huge hope for it.
More than anything, the set cost a fortune – so there was talk of doing another series, mainly to get their money’s worth, really!”
Nixon added that she’d like to see her “rookie” character evolve into something more ruthless and tougher should Critical Season 2 get the greenlight:
“In the first series, Harry’s such a rookie – very much the nervous new girl. But we used to joke that by series 15, she’d be [like Lennie James‘s character] Glen Boyle. She’d be hardened – don’t f**k with her!”
Critical cancelled or renewed? Watch this space…
