Debmar-Mercury and FremantleMedia North America today made it official. The freshman syndicated Celebrity Name Game has been renewed for a second season. The decision was not unexpected. The renewals follow pickups by Tribune Broadcasting, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Cox Broadcasting, among others, and provides the game show with initial 2015-16 clearances in well over 80 percent of the U.S. Hosted by Craig Ferguson and executive produced by Courteney Cox and David Arquette, the second season is in pre-production and the first season, currently on air, returns with new episodes on January 12.

In the final round with 1-10 questions, ONLY the question in play should be lit-up! It is confusing to everyone!
Carson Daley says
It’s a very nasty show, I do not care for the way contestants and celebs AND Craig Ferguson are allowed to curse….they “bleep” it out, but we can read lips. Also, the inference to sexual acts are absurd…..what happened to the nice clean game shows? I think it needs to be thrown out,,,, our society is disgusting!
Carson Daley says
I agree with that….one guy kept turning around and he missed the number turning into a question and he wasn’t sure which one was the right one…he lost 3 or 4 seconds and they would have won,,,,the celebs almost got it, they needed a one more clue, they were so close…..that team was cheated out of $20,000 possibly!
